Uzkimyosanoat delegation welcomed at KFU

The team of the Uzbekistan Chemical Corporation, headed by Chairman of the Board Yevgeny Korzhikov, is visiting our university.

The guests toured laboratories of the Institute of Chemistry to learn more about research in heterogeneous catalysis and composite materials.

In the Main Building, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Innovation Dmitry Pashin presented KFU and its current priorities.

Director of the Center for Pharmaceutics Yury Shtyrlin spoke about the center’s work in pharmaceutics, agriculture, and additive agents.

Director of the Low Tonnage Chemical Technology Park Mikhail Varfolomeev familiarized the guests with the park’s many production capacities, including composites, dry reagents, catalysts, polymer pharmaceutics, and other infrastructure.

The visitors proceeded to tour other laboratories and to meet with Vice-Rector for Continuing Education Ilnur Khairullin.
