Talks with Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan İsmet Erikan

Mr. Erikan arrived to speak with Turkish students.

He was welcomed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Timirkhan Alishev.

The Consul talked about his everyday work and the support provided by the Consulate to Turkish citizens. Vice-Rector Alishev informed everyone about visa and entry requirements for foreign nationals, including new procedures of fingerprint registration and medical checkups (in force since December 2021).

Both officials then asked questions from the audience about visa issues, studies, and medical help.

As of this academic year, KFU is hosting 430 Turkish nationals, which is the largest number ever for our institution. 380 of them are enrolled in the pre-university course.
