University visited by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Pyotr Kucherenko

The Deputy’s interest this time was concentrated on teacher education.

During their tour of the Institute of Psychology and Education, Rector Ilshat Gafurov informed the guest about KFU’s distributed system of teacher training. The delegation also looked at the Center for Master Studies in Teaching, Center for Practical Teaching in Preschool and Elementary Education, lecture rooms, a cinema, training rooms, a speaking practice studio, and model classrooms of physics and chemistry.

After that, Pyotr Kucherenko moved to the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication to learn more about pedagogical training for bilingual and multilingual schools. He visited model classrooms, Kazan International Linguistics Center, Distance Education Lab, Ana Tele Online Tatar Language system room, Polyglot Media Lab, and EduTech Center.

The Deputy noted the comfortable and favorable environment created for future teachers.
