Cairo Branch visited by Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Science of Russia Konstantin Mogilevsky

Head of Cairo Branch (Egyptian side) Aiman al-Saed Shaffei accompanied the guest in the campus, demonstrating ongoing classes, equipment, and infrastructure. Konstanting Mogilevsky sat for the classes, conducted by both local and Russian educators, and met with the staff.

The deputy minister had high praise for the Branch’s faculty and students and emphasized the importance of academic cooperation between Russia and African countries.

Aiman al-Saed Shaffei noted that KFU’s Cairo Branch is the first such project by Russian universities in Africa.

The Branch passed all the necessary inspections by the Russian Accreditation Agency this year, which guarantees its adherence to all Russian requirements to educational institutions. That is confirmed by growing interest from local young people, high admission competition, and ongoing increase of student body.

The teaching is provided only in English by KFU and Egyptian educators.
