Delegation of Bukhara State University visiting KFU
The Uzbekistani guests arrived on 17 March.
The team comprises Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of BSU Turkin Rasulov, Chair of the Department of Mathematical Analysis Elyor Dilmurodov, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Erkin Niyozov, and Lecturer Bakhtiyor Ganiev.
Vice-Rector of KFU for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev spoke about th University’s current circumstances and links with Uzbekistan. KFU currently hosts 2,212 Uzbekistani students – the largest body of foreign students among all the countries represented here. There are 59 cooperation partners in Uzekistan, and KFU today implements 61 joint programs with them. Of course, the crown jewel of such cooperation is our Jizzakh Branch.
The guests are visiting KFU’s administrative and educational units, including the Office of Research Activities, the Institute of Chemistry, the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, and others.
The delegation was invited to tour the House of Peoples’ Friendship of Tatarstan and meet with the Chairman of the Local Cultural Autonomy of Uzbeks Adbumanob Abdusatarov and Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan Fariddin Nasriev.
