Four agreements signed with Malaysian universities by KFU delegation

A visit is taking place this week.

The delegation comprises Aide to the Governor of Tatarstan Albert Gilmutdinov, Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin, and university executives, including two from KFU – First Vice-Rector Dmitry Tayursky and Vice-Rector for Economic and Strategic Development Marat Safiullin.

The visitors came to the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia to meet with the minister. The Malaysian side expressed interest in KFU’s programs in AI, robotics, and fundamental science.

As a result, agreements were signed with three local universities – University of Technology Malaysia, Islamic Science University of Malaysia, and Asia-Pacific University of Technology and Innovation.

On 25 October, the Kazanites also visited the University of Malaya, where both universities exchanged presentations. Another meeting was with MARA Technological University, the nation’s biggest higher education institution.

Finally, the Russian delegation arrived at International Islamic University Malaysia, which arranged a small expo in the main hallway. The Malaysian colleagues wish to cooperate in Islamic banking and halal industry research.
