Iranian delegation discusses cultural exhibition planned at University

The University received Mojtaba Damirchila, Head of the 1st Eurasia Division of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He visited the History Museum and listened to a presentation by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev.

Consul General of the of Iran in Kazan Dawood Mirzakhani and Consul of Iran in Kazan Massoud Mollai were also present.

The sides talked about ‘Iran – the Land of Arts’, an upcoming exhibition at KFU’s History Museum. The prepared handicraft items wil tell stories of Iranian history, climate, and ethnic cultures.

In the past academic year, KFU counted 1,140 Iranian students, of which over 480 were enrolled in the Preparatory School. There are many partnerships with Iranian universities and research centers, including those formed during a recent Rector’s visit to the country.
