KFU represented at educational expo in Turkmenistan

The expo, titled Healthcare, Education and Sports during the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of a Mighty Nation, was held in the country’s capital Ashgabat on 10 – 12 October.

The event was held by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and the State Committee of Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan.

Over 20 countries sent their delegations, including Russia – which had 20 universities on the ground.

Kazan Federal University was represented by Head of the Center for Scientific and International Activities of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication Artyom Drugov and Lead Specialist of the International Admissions Unit Olga Baklanova. Expo visitors showed interest in KFU’s programs in medicine, teacher education, languages, and IT.

The Kazanites also visited Joint Turkmen-Russian Secondary School, the city of Arkadag (sister city of Kazan), and the International Academy of Equestrianism.

KFU currently hosts 4,434 Turkmenistani nationals, which is the largest representation among over 100 countries sending their students to our University.
