KFU to open its first Summer University next week

Over 300 foreign nationals are going to study at the University from 10 to 23 July.

The program includes lectures, seminars, practice sessions, trips, and cultural events. The organizers are covering intra-city transfers, meals, coffee breaks, and insurance.

“The main objective of the project is to popularize Russian education abroad, establish interpersonal, intercultural and international communication, develop ties between countries, Russian and foreign students. As part of the project the guests will get acquainted with history, culture and traditions of Russia, in particular of Kazan. Over 300 foreign citizens are expected to come to Kazan. There is a vast geography of countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Algeria, Turkey, Syria, Iran, Nigeria, and others,” explains Rauf Sabirov, Head of International Admissions Unit.

There are several tracks, including two in English language – Digital economy: trends and development and Environmental design and tactical urbanism.

Trips to various places of interest in Kazan, Sviyazhsk and Innopolis are planned, as well as a visit to Kazan University Planetarium.
