Rector Lenar Safin converses with new Consul General of Iran in Kazan Dawood Mirzakhani
The meeting was held on 24 May.
The Rector emphasized that cooperation with Iran is one of KFU’s top priorities, “We are quickly developing collaboration with the Iranian academia in mutual priority areas. Keeping in mind the existing potential, we see big prospects in further partnerships.”
At this time, KFU has agreements with 6 academic institutions of Iran. Key cooperation areas are physics, chemistry, petroleum science, engineering, social science, and others.
In October 2022, the University opened a preparatory program in Tehran. It aims at preparing local student for enrolment in Kazan University. Currently, our university hosts 1,149 Iranian nationals.
