Rector meets Governor of Abai Oblast Nurlan Urankhaev

The Kazakhstani guest arrived on 12 December.

He was accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko and Official Representative of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan Denis Valeev.

The sides talked about cooperation in education and science with a focus on IT and engineering.

The Governor also showed interest in industrial and biomedical technology researched at KFU.

Dr Safin and Governor Urankhaev agreed to further discuss prospective cooperation areas after the Abai Oblast delegation will have completed its acquaintance tour of the University.
