Rector visits Foundation for Iranian Studies in Tehran

A KFU delegation is touring the Islamic Republic.

Lenar Safin met with President of FIS Mohammad Rajabi Dawani. The sides discussed joint educational programs, fundamental and applied research, pedagogical innovation, advanced training, academic exchange, and other topics.

Dr Safin presented KFU’s Center for Iranian Studies and its cooperation with colleagues from the Islamic Republic. The Center assists in Iranian studies and arranges student and teacher internships in Iran.

A memorandum of understanding was signed to establish formal cooperation in various fields.

The Foundation was established and has been training master’s students since 2004 and PhD students since 2013. The partner institution is Shahid Beheshti University.
