University delegation joins Edugate Winter 2023 in Cairo, Egypt

The educational fair features over 60 institutions, including 6 from Russia.

This time, the University is represented by Director of the Institute of IT and Intelligent Systems Mikhail Abramsky, Deputy Director of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance Oksana Polyakova, Senior Lecturer of the Institute of Design and Spatial Arts Marina Davletgaraeva, and Lead Specialist of the International Admission Unit Olga Baklanova.

Dr Abramsky presented the University to fair visitors. He comments, “Prospective enrollees like to hear about Kazan, its multiethnic history and excellent infrastructure. Those are one of our key advantages.”

“The visitors are interested in management, software engineering, medicine, and other programs. Egyptian nationals are interested in learning Russian and enrolling in Russian universities,” informs Dr Polyakova.

After Edugate, the KFU delegation will continue its stay in Cairo with a Russian educational fair at Rossotrudnichestvo, Russia’s humanitarian cooperation agency.

Currently, our University hosts 189 Egyptian students.
