Yelabuga Institute strengthening links with China

Institute Director Yelena Merzon and her colleagues visited Jiaxing University, Zhejiang.

The Director spoke about Yelabuga Institute’s infrastructure, programs, and international cooperation, and showed a presentational video in Chinese language. She paid special attention to the Institute’s teacher education programs.

The sides discussed academic exchange and conference participation. The Russian guests then toured an international student campus and conversed with Russian students. A trip to Haining, China’s leather industry center, was also arranged.

Another meeting took place at Pinghu Institute, Jiaxing. The two institutions discussed exchange, Russian language and Chinese language studies. The delegation sat at classes and went to the Institute’s campuses.

Information about KFU’s Summer University project was disbursed and piqued interest.
