KFU now 38th in Petroleum Engineering subject rankings by QS

In 2024, Kazan Federal University improved its positions in 15 subjects and 4 subject areas.

In Petroleum Engineering, KFU is ranking 38th in the world and 2nd in Russia (in 2023, 40th in the world and 2nd in Russia, respectively).

The University is also faring well in Education – now 89th in the world in 2nd in the nation.

Among other improvements are:

Computer Science and Information Systems – 451-500 (13th in Russia);

Natural Sciences – 301 (9th in Russia);

Engineering and Technology – 401-450 (14th in Russia).

Linguistics – 101-150.

The University is also present in English Language and Literature, Modern Languages, History, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Chemical Engineering, and Medicine.
