On-site teaching to start on 1 November this year

The decision has been made recently to accommodate preparations for the BRICS Summit in Kazan on 22-24 October.

The dormitories of the Universiade Village will be vacated before 1 September for small repairs and renovations before summit organizers check in. Students will be able to stay there in the summer.

Some of the students will be relocated to the Student City dorms, and some will have the opportunity to return home. Storage rooms will be organized at the Universiade Village for their convenience.

The studies from 1 September till 1 November will be conducted online. Further organizational comments will follow.

The studies will be organized as follows:

1 September to 17 October – distance self-teaching with intermittent consultations from KFU educators in accordance with the study plan;

18 October to 31 October – vacations;

1 November to 2 March – autumn semester;

3 to 9 March – spring break;

10 March to 13 July – spring semester.
