Commander of KFU Student Squads awarded as best in her category in Tatarstan in 2022

The ceremony took place on 17 February.

The winner, Nataliya Shilova, shares, “That I was commended as the best coordinator of student squads was a surprise. KFU commanders had never taken this nomination before. It’s an important award because it shows that we are moving in the right direction.”

Shilova stepped up to the position in the autumn of 2020. She says that the hardest in her job is interpersonal communication with squad leaders and their teams, “Each squad has its own atmosphere. But I am lucky to have the best team in the province. We always have each other’s backs.”

There are currently 13 squads at KFU – five in teaching and tutoring, two in construction, three in train conducting, and one in social outreach. Overall, they have over 700 members, and 456 people have already applied for employment in the summer of 2023.
