Open Doors Scholarship 2024 now accepting applications

Overseas nationals are eligible to apply until 10 December 2023.

The scholarship, organized by Russia’s Association of Global Universities, covers expenses for enrollees of master’s and PhD (aspirantura) programs in leading Russian unviersities. Russian and English programs are available.

The master’s track comprises two stages, and the PhD track – three stages. The first stage is a portfolio competition, the second – a test, and the third – an interview with a potential research supervisor of the PhD student.

The Open Doors Scholarship is conducted in an online format in either Russian or English. Overseas nationals must be completing a bachelor’s course to apply for the master’s track and a master’s or specialist’s course to apply for PhD.

The competition is organized 14 subject areas for the master’s applications and in 6 subject areas for the PhD. The registration is open until 10 December.
