Kazan University students win in several nominations of the Student of the Year in Tatarstan awards

The 28th Student of the Year in Tatarstan ceremony took place on 25 January.

The event is organized the Tatarstan Student Union, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan, and the Council of Rectors of Tatarstan.

Overall, 435 applications from 28 local universities were submitted in 18 nominations:

Class President of the Year;

Intellect of the Year;

International Student of the Year;

Athlete of the Year;

Creative Personality of the Year;

Media Creator of the Year;

Volunteer of the Year;

Student Organizer of the Year;

Grand Prix;

Student Self-Governance Body of the Year;

Student Science Club of the Year;

Student Organization of the Year;

Student Arts Collective of the Year;

Student Media of the Year;

Student Project of the Year;

Student Sports Club of the Year;

Student Dorm Council of the Year;

Patriotic Collective of the Year.

KFU students and student teams were triumphant in many nominations, namely:

Intellect of the Year – Eva Kuznetsova, Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology;

Student Science Club of the Year – ArteFact, Yelabuga Institute;

International Student of the Year – Mac Quiroa Christopher Andre, Institute of Management, Economics and Finance;

Student Arts Collective of the Year – Smorodina Folk Song Ensemble, Institute of Management Economics and Finance;

Student Self-Governance Body of the Year – Student Council of the Institute of International Relations (Chairman – Stepan Rakov);

Student Organization of the Year – Center for Environmental Initiatives of the Universiade Village;

Grand Prix – Nikita Likhachyov, Institute of International Relations.
