University starts season of regular outdoor events for employees

The two traditional venues for such entertainment are Yalchik Camp (located in the neighboring province, the Republic of Mari El) and Engelhardt Astronomical Observatory.

The first event is scheduled for 14 January at the Observatory – the year starts with a ski race. Over 100 visitors are expected.

“We plan to arrange skiing for three Saturdays in a row in January,” says Deputy Director of the Directorate of Sports and Health Work of KFU Rustam Gilmutdinov. “After a two-hour skiing session, a lunch will be organized for our visitors. In conclusion, there is a film viewing and fun contests for everyone.”

Winter events have been held since 2020, and summer ones – since 2019. Naturally, the summer events are richer in itinerary, including quizzes, kids’ games, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, darts, and badminton. This year, there will be 7 winter events and 4 summer events.
