KFU’s International Friendship Club named among the three best in Russia during year-end convention

A national convention of international student clubs was held at the State University of Management in Moscow on 8 – 10 December.

KFU was represented by students Wang Xuyang and Frank Sebastian Sambrano Sinisterra.

The convention over 100 people from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novosibirsk Oblast, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Penza Oblast, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chuvash Republic, and other provinces. The meeting opened with a panel session on traditional values and the succession of generations. Breakout sessions then followed on such topics as motivation for international student clubs, management structure of the Association of International Student Clubs, activities of an international student club of a university, and other relevant issues.

The Kazanites entered the top three in a competition titled Unity in Diversity.
