Rector Lenar Safin meets activists on Russian Student Day

January 25th is Russian Student Day, better known as Tatiana’s Day because it’s the fete of Saint Tatiana, a Christian martyr in 3rd century Rome.

Every year, this day is marked by numerous celebrations at Russian universities and colleges, with KFU, of course, being one of them. As usual, this time the students came to Rector Lenar Safin’s office to congratulate him in person.

The sides discussed many topics, including youth tourism, opportunities for international students, national projects aimed at youth development.

The Rector noted, “Your achievements really inspire hope in tomorrow. I have no doubt you’re able to reach any height. Be brave in implementing your ideas and dreams. Don’t be afraid of mistakes and seek opportunities to amend them – and enjoy student life.”

In conclusion, the Rector awarded those who have excelled in science, volunteering, arts, and other areas. In other good news, the University decided to disburse financial benefits to best-performing students on this occasion.
