12th International Schoolteachers Festival opened at Yelabuga Institute
The event has gathered 2,500 professionals, with 740 attending in person. The focus of this year’s festival is patriotism and conscientious citizenship.


The opening ceremony on 15 August featured Vice-Premier of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva, Deputy of the State Duma Ildar Gilmutdinov, Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky, and Director of the Yelabuga Institute Yelena Merzon, among others.


As usual, the festival includes a special benefaction for first-grade secondary schoolers, where invited dignitaries sponsor purchases of miscellaneous school items and donate them personally. The guests also visited a specialized expo of educational equipment and goods.


The festival takes up three days and comprises lectures, master classes, training sessions, presentations, and roundtables.
