12th International Schoolteachers Festival wraps up in Yelabuga

Over 17 public lectures and 100 master classes were attended by over 3,000 people, including 850 persons from 55 Russian provinces on-site.

Apart from the main program, thematic projects were also presented. The University School of Yelabuga, part of KFU’s in-house secondary school structure, conducted a seminar for preschool educators. Kindergarten workers partook in events in fairy tale therapy, plasticine graphics, folk culture studies, and other pedagogical technologies.

The Tatarstan New Century organization held a special event in project management for schoolteachers.

Much interest was drawn to integration initiatives between higher and secondary education represented by such complexes in Kazan, Yelabuga, Ulyanovsk, and Krasnoyarsk.

Another thematic block was covering the role of university museums in the cultivation of patriotism. Head of school museums from different cities shared their experience.

Director of the Yelabuga Institute Yelena Merzon thanked the participants for their professionalism and commended them for allocating time during their vacation for such activities.
