23rd International Conference on Chemical Thermodynamics hosted by Kazan Federal University
The conference takes up 22 – 27 August.
The event has gathered 250 scholars from Russia, United States, Germany, Italy, Portugal, China, Australia, Peru, Hungary, and many other nations.
KFU has historically been one of the leaders in chemical thermodynamics. In quantitative terms, it is placed 8th in the world and 2nd in Russia by the number of publications in calorimetry, including global leadership in ultrafast calorimetry. KFU works on catalysts, thermoplastics, polymers, composites, medications, hydrogen energy storage, and much more.
As part of the conference, the University plans to address the Council on Chemical Thermodynamics of the Russian Academy of Sciences with a proposal to create a special young scientist school in chemical thermodynamics here.
The conference includes sightseeing activities and tours of the Institute of Chemistry.
