2nd Opening the World of Science Festival

A traditional event for KFU freshmen took place on 21 October.

The festival was organized by the Department of Youth Policy and the Division of Research Administration of KFU.

At the UNICS Center, the visitors were greeted by First Vice-Rector Dmitry Tayursky and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yekaterina Turilova.

Among the exhibits were small chemical laboratories, student-made aerial drones, optical illusions, pharmaceutical technology demonstrations, data engineering stands, as well as lectures on psychology, political science, management, and other matters. Many booths offered interactive games and contests. For instance, the students could detect vitamin C in various edibles, practice first aid, and partake in trivia quizzes.
