3rd International Forum on Mathematical Education

The event takes place at KFU on 28 March – 2 April.
It is co-hosted by the Institute of Mathematics of Mechanics and Mathematical Education Center of the Volga Federal District.
This iteration unites five events:
11th International Conference on Mathematical Education in Universities and Schools (MathEdu);
International Conference on IT in Education and Science;
2nd International Workshop on Digital Technologies for Teaching and Learning;
Young Scientists Conference on the Future of Mathematical Education;
11th Provincial Teachers Workshop on New Challenges in Teaching Mathematics at School.
The contributors were welcomed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yekaterina Turilova and Chair of the Department of Algebra and Mathematical Logic Marat Arslanov.
Plenary reports were made by Sergey Grigoryev (Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education), Vladik Kreinovich (Professor, Computer Science, the University of Texas at El Paso), and Olga Kosheleva (Associate Professor, Department Co-Chair, Teacher Education, the University of Texas at El Paso), among others.
The Workshop on Digital Technologies is headed by Associate Professor Olga Nevzorova (Institute of Computational Mathematics and IT).
Several master classes are conducted for teachers, students, and willing participants.
The Provincial Teachers Workshop concludes the forum on 2 April.
