3rd International Forum ‘Russia and China in a Changing World’

The meeting’s dates are 10 to 12 November.

This year also marks the 65th anniversary of the Russia-China Friendship Society (RCFS) and the 15th anniversary of Kazan Federal University’s Confucius Institute. A KFU chapter of RCFS will be opened during the forum.

The international forum comprises four events:

15th Conference ‘Russia-China: History and Culture’;

3rd Russian Conference ‘Pertinent questions of Chinese language teaching in the 21st century’;

2nd online student academic writing competition ‘Russia-China: History and Modernity’;

presentation of Chinese writer Han Shaogong‘s prose, first ever translated into Russian by experts from Kazan Federal University. The presentation will feature Han Shaogong and his biographer Liao Shuwu in an online format.

The materials will be published in Modern Oriental Studies.
