Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky met with Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madzhidov

The Acting Rector is visiting Uzbekistan.

The two universities are already cooperating in joint programs in psychology, cartography, software engineering, and others.

During today’s meeting, the two executives discussed further expansions of double majors, including economics, geology, petrochemistry, and biology.

Links with Uzbekistan have long been a priority for Kazan University. A full-scale branch of KFU is set for opening in Jizzakh Region of the country in September 2022.

Dmitry Tayursky noted the utmost importance of Russian-Uzbekistani ties, especially because of the recent changes in the global situation.
