Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky spoke with Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kazakhstan Aleksey Koropchenko

He was accompanied by Counselor to the Rector Rashid Azimov and Deputy Chief Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Olga Uldanova.
Aleksey Koropchenko commended the large-scale efforts made by KFU to promote education and science in Kazakhstan. Our university currently has agreements with 29 Kazakhstani institutions, including Eurasian National University, East Kazakhstan State Technical University, KMG Engineering LLP, Margulan Institute of Archeology, and others. In particular, Eurasian National University hosts Qayum Nasyri Institute, a Tatar language and culture center.
The sides discussed measures to further develop cooperation with Kazakhstani partners and student recruitment. At this point, there are 560 Kazakhstani nationals enrolled in Kazan Federal University.
