Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky visiting Kyrgyzstan

He is accompanied by Counsellor to the Rector for Cooperation with Central Asia Rashit Azimov and Deputy Chief of Staff of the university Mikhail Chebotaryov.

The Acting Rector met with Head of Rossotrudnichestvo (Russia’s humanitarian cooperation agency) in Kyrgyzstan Albert Zulkarneev. Counsellor to the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Asylbek Aydaraliev and Attache for Education and Science of the Embassy of Russia in Kyrgyzstan Robert Fyodorov were also present.

The Kyrgyzstani side spoke about its huge demand for teacher education in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. Professor Tayursky mentioned KFU’s Volga Region Center for Advanced Training of Teachers and its activities in pedagogical education. He offered to provide training to Kyrgyzstani teachers as well.

Asylbek Aydaraliev reported on the ongoing work on a draft of a cooperation roadmap for Kazan Federal University and the International University of Kyrgyzstan, which will include double diplomas and a joint dissertation board in architecture and design.
