Kazan Federal University ascends in RAEX Rankings of Influential Universities of Russia
The University is now 13th in the nation.
In this second iteration, RAEX included 75 universities which enjoy the most significant influence on education, business, and young people.
The traditional leader is Moscow State University; Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration is second; and the third place went to Saint-Petersburg State University.
Kazan and Yekaterinburg are two non-capital cities with sizable presence, having provided three universities each.
The RAEX ranking is a part of the Three Missions of a University ecosystem and is supported by the Russian Union of Rectors and the Association of Rankings Agencies.
