Kazan University employee among the fifty winners of Russia’s League of Lecturers competition

Associate Professor Mimoza Fakhrutdinova received her award together with other winners in Moscow.

In his welcome speech, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Kirienko noted that this second season of League of Lecturers attracted 5,000 contributors. A hundred of them became finalists. Winners received grants of 500 thousand rubles to develop and promote educational content.

During the second and third stages of the contest, Associate Professor Fakhrutdinova presented her two lectures – on language instruments in advertising and psychological thesaurus of contemporary Russian language. In the semifinal stage, held at KFU in April 2022, she spoke about borrowed words in Russian. Finally, her winning performance was about interesting facts from etymology and took place at Moscow State University. She was invited to the online marathon on Russian Language Day (6 June) in Sochi.

The interviewee says that she always tries to attract attention to the beauty and richness of the Russian language.
