Kazan University retains 20th position in RAEX 100 university rankings
The 11th annual ranking was unveiled last week.
RAEX uses over 40 criteria for its rankings. There are three integral factors: conditions for high-quality education (weight 0.5), market demand for graduates (weight 0.3), and research (weight 0.2). They are divided into smaller indicators.
RAEX is the only Russian ranking audited by IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence.
As usual, the ranking is topped by Moscow State University, followed by Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Saint-Petersburg State University. In the top 20, only five universities are located outside of Moscow and Saint-Petersburg – two in Tomsk and one each in Kazan, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk.
