KFU History Museum visited by President of World Ethnosport Confederation Bilal Erdogan

He and his colleagues from Ibn Haldun University arrived on 8 November.

Kazan University was represented by Rector Lenar Safin, Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs Andrey Khashov, and Director of the International Office Olga Vershinina.

The guests toured the History Museum, the Emperor Ballroom, and the Lenin Memorial Classroom. Rector of Ibn Haldun University Atilla Arkan showed interest in building a partnership with KFU.

Rector Safin noted, “We are always ready to look at new opportunities and prospects to strengthen the partnership and cultural, educational and athletic links between our nations.”

Kazan University currently collaborates with 10 Turkish institutions and hosts 227 Turkish students. The University has recently opened a preparatory course in the country’s capital, Ankara.

Our University is a longstanding authority in Turkic studies, including the Center for Turkic World, the Turkology Studies journal, and many related courses and programs.
