KFU student Alina Garaeva wins Miss Photogenic nomination at Miss Global 2022 talent pageant in Bali, Indonesia

She was also in the top 25 finalists of the event.

To partake in the pageant, Alina Garaeva completed her exam session ahead of schedule. She is enrolled in the English as foreign language teacher education program.

She says about her Indonesian experience, “I was impressed by Indonesian culture and peculiar energy. We had lessons of Balinese traditional dance. Former Miss Universe Natalya Glebova gave a master class on on-stage composure, self-confidence, and public speaking techniques.”

To prepare for the contest, among other things, Alina commissioned a traditional Tatar gown from designer Leysan Khazieva and honed her English language skills. A runway walk in traditional ethnic costume was one of the stages of the pageant. As a result, the Kazanite was commended as Miss Photogenic.

New modeling proposals have already started to flow in after Alina’s performance in Indonesia.

She next plans to join Miss Planet International in November 2022 and wants to prepare a song in English.

Alina Garaeva has been competing in pageants since 17 years of age. She has won such contests as Beauty of Tatarstan, Miss Asia in Russia, Miss Planet Russia, and was on the pedestal of Miss Russia.
