KFU students receive funding from federal agencies in Your Move national competition
Your Move (Tvoy Khod) is supported by Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and Federal Agency for Tourism (the latter is now defunct); the organizers are Russia – Country of Opportunities and National League of Student Clubs.
The largest prize is 1 million rubles, and this time it went to two KFU students.

Karina Zakharova was awarded for her body of work as mentor and volunteer, including pedagogical training, sightseeing trips for international students, and online lectures and events. She also received a travel certificate allowing to visit any place in Russia.
Another lucky individual is Maxim Antonov – he gamified such a seemingly routine procedure as volunteer street cleaning. His Student Cleaning Cup was met with great enthusiasm this year, as young people from many universities and vocational schools of Kazan willingly joined the extra-useful environmental initiative.

A slightly smaller grant of 340 thousand rubles went to Inzilya Shakirova. She will disburse the money for her project Teplo Media, an online news and lifestyle portal for teenagers.
Five more students of alma mater were awarded travel certificates for their benefactory activities.
