KFU to host Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Youth Scientific Congress

The event is scheduled for 21 – 23 November 2022 and will unite over 50 young researchers from 17 countries.

The Congress is a part of Kazan’s packed calendar of events in 2022 as the OIC Youth Capital for this year. With that in mind, Director General of the Cabinet at the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) Secretariat Yunus Sönmez and Director of International Programs at ICYF Tuğba Ceren Çerçi visited KFU on 29 October. They were met by Vice-Rector for External Affairs Timirkhan Alishev and several university employees.

The Vice-Rector spoke about KFU’s history, infrastructure, current priorities, international cooperation, and overseas students. The sides further discussed organizational issues of the upcoming Youth Congress, including its program, participants, top speakers, and experts.

The University and ICYF agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in the nearest future.
