Memorandum of cooperation signed with South Kazakhstan State University






The KFU delegation to Kazakhstan is being headed by Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky.
During their visit to Shymkent, KFU representatives met with Rector of SKSU Daria Kozhamzharova and toured the university.
The sides discussed further cooperation in various spheres, including over a dozen new joint programs and academic mobility.
At this moment, the two institutions collaborate in viscous oil and bitumen research. The plans are to open new cooperation ties in history, international relations, engineering, machine building, and journalism.
In other news, Acting Rector Tayursky was awarded the title of honorary professor of South Kazakhstan State University.
The Kazanites also viewed SKSU’s exhibition titled ‘Vectors of Integration of University Science and Regional Economy.’
The memorandum will come into force in May 2022.
