Over 150 persons welcomed as part of 2022 summer student tourism program

155 universities from 98 Russian cities joined the program this year.

“The main mission of the program is to ensure the availability and safety of travel. The student wants, first of all, for the trip to not be expensive, and the student’s parents want it to be safe. The student tourism program solves these issues, because a student can live in dormitories or campuses of host universities for a small cost. We would like to join the program again next year. At the end of the 2022 season, KFU entered the top 10 most popular universities in the country for such travel,” says Yekaterina Senchenkova, Head of Student Welfare Section of the Department of Youth Policy.

In 2022, KFU was visited by 158 students from 48 Russian provinces. They lived at the Universiade Village for just 150 rubles a day.

Each of the visitors could visit KFU’s labs and museums, talk with social activists, visit arts meeting and performances, and, of course, go sightseeing in Kazan and other cities and towns of Tatarstan.
