Over ten thousand diplomas awarded to graduates of Kazan Federal University in 2022

The first graduating ceremonies started on 29 June, and some are still underway.

Among them, the Institute of Physics graduates 255 young people, 75 of them with honors.

“I became an experimentalist and have conducted several research projects on the hyper-polarization of helium-3. I want to continue my studies in a PhD course,” shared fresh graduate Alexander Makarchenko.

Adeliya Garaeva, who had just completed her BSc in radio physics, said, “There are many opportunities for growth in science at the Institute. I am engaged in magnetic resonance and want to continue my research in a master course.”

Another batch of graduates on 13 July were from the Department of PR and Applied Political Science – 115 persons overall.

Chief Counsellor to the Rector Riyaz Minzaripov congratulated them, “You, as experts in PR and media, play a very important role in society. Please always be conscientious of your responsibility.”

The Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication has already completed its diploma giveaways. Being one of the largest at KFU, it produced a significant number of graduates – 629 bachelors and 181 masters. About a third of them graduated cum laude.

Director of the Institute Radif Zamaletdinov told them, “Be always faithful to your designated goal and achieve it. I will be glad if you visit our university often and remember your teachers.”

One of the alumni, Anastasiya Ishmuratova, was a very active researcher during her student years, “I am glad to have received so much knowledge in the four years. Despite hard studies, I also had time for hobbies and work – since my freshman year, I worked as a tutor in Russian, English, and German.”
