Rector Lenar Safin conversed with Director of Jizzakh Branch Ozod Babomuradov

Their meeting on 29 September was joined by Vice-Rector for External Affairs Timirkhan Alishev and Deputy Director of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute Marat Umarov.

Several organizational issues were discussed in anticipation of the official branch opening set for 11 October. In particular, the branch needs to obtain a full license to provide educational services in the region.

At this moment, the Branch is working with the State Inspection of Education Quality of Uzbekistan towards finalizing the licensing process. All the documentation has been provided by Kazan Federal University, and the number of specializations and allocated public funding from the Uzbekistani side have been confirmed.

The participants also talked about construction and renovation at the Branch and relevant equipment purchases and installation.
