A presentation was made as part of Digital Departments initiative.
Since September 2022, KFU students will be entitled to programs of supplemental training funded by a federal project.
In the long run, the university plans to introduce five such programs; they will be open to students of all specializations.
The first of launched programs, ‘IT Development – Analytics, Architecture, Programming and Quality Assurance’, – is targeted at non-IT students. “The program helps understand the structure of the IT development process and which specialists are involved in each stage and how teamwork goes on,” says Mikhail Abramsky, Director of the Institute of IT and Intelligent Systems.
The course comprises seven modules:
Analytics and projecting;
Algorithms and programming;
Basics of databases;
Principles of web applications, server programming and version control;
Layout and development of the client part;
Testing and quality management;
Project practice.
The second program, ‘Basics of developing data management platforms’, is mostly aimed at advanced training of IT specialists. Thanks to it, IT companies will be able to recruit over 500 fresh graduates with expertise in digital platforms.
It is expected that about 2,000 students will enroll in the new programs.
