University continues its temporary student employment program
The program has been adopted for the period of 2020 – 2024.
The initiative was put forth in 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, to support those students who had become unemployed due to restrictions. It proved its effectiveness and was thus prolonged for the five-year period.
In the academic year 2021/2022, a total of 440 students have been hired by various university departments, such as Department of Youth Policy, Department of IT and Communications, Department of Information Policy, Directorate of Museums, Directorate of Sports and Social Infrastructure, Division of R&D Coordination, Lobachevsky Lyceum, We Are Together Kindergarten, Preparatory School for International Students, HR Department, and other structural units.
As Head of the Center for Temporary Employment Nail Vyalshin notes, the most popular positions among students are linked with SMM and social networks. The least popular are archival activities. All the employed individuals receive no less than the minimal wage in Tatarstan.
