University opens six new labs in medicine

As part of the Science and Universities National Project, KFU is poised to receive 300 million rubles in 2022-2024 for the new laboratories.

Here is the list of new research units and their heads:

Laboratory of Industrial Biopharmaceutics (Lead Research Associate Emil Bulatov);

Laboratory of Natural Antimicrobial Compounds (Associate Professor Yelena Trizna);

Laboratory of Medical Materials (Research Associate Diana Salakhieva);

Laboratory of Drugs against Resistant Microorganisms (Senior Research Associate Maria Agafonova);

Laboratory of Hybrid Optic Sensors (Senior Research Associate Maksim Pudovkin);

Laboratory of Plasmochemical Production of Functional Materials (Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Ramil Kashapov).

Overall, the Russian Academy of Sciences selected 55 projects for further funding within the Development of Human Capital for R&D Federal Subproject.
