University visited by Attaché for Education of the Embassy of Zambia in Russia Mavis Mulenga

She was welcomed by Vice-Rector for External Affairs Timirkhan Alishev.

The Attaché met with Zambian students. There are currently 12 young people from the country here, mostly studying medicine and biology.

The guest informed them about new regulations regarding scholarships introduced by the Government of Zambia. They seek to provide regular payments in light of recent restrictions on financial transactions with Russia imposed by some institutions and countries. She also answered the students’ questions and thanked Kazan University for the reception and the conditions provided to overseas students in their studies and extracurricular activities.

The meeting was also visited by Zambian students from other universities of Kazan and nearby provinces.
