In his comment to the university media, the vice-rector noted that Russia and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea signed the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, “The Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education is paying special attention to this visit. We have been planning it for about a year. During the two-day visit to KFU, the guests will familiarize themselves with the activities of several institutes of the university. Representatives of the Korean university are especially interested in oil and gas technologies, because today the country aims to explore and extract minerals in order to support its industrialization. Earlier, the Institute of Geology organized an online lecture for the staff of Kim Chaek University. In addition, representatives of this university pay great attention to developments in robotics and artificial intelligence. We also discuss internships. Tomorrow we plan to sign a cooperation agreement.”
