“That time required stoicism and bravery, heroism of researchers and students, intense labor on the home front. The University will never forget the 1,418 days and nights of the Great Patriotic War and will forever be proud of the feats of its students and employees. The experience of the Patriotic War teaches us to perceive our past as a unique cultural heritage and a foundation of our cultural identity, something that we should preserve and pass on to our descendants without fail. Today’s events show the spiritual force of our young people. You are worthy of the glory of your heroic ancestors, and you are ready to achieve new breakthroughs in various spheres. I wish all of us happiness, wellbeing, longevity, and peaceful skies! And eternal memory and glory to our heroes!”
