Kirill Akifyev: “I started partaking in scientific research from my early days as a student”

On 21 December 2021, the University announced the results of the Student of the Year 2021 at KFU. The Intellect of the Year nomination went to Kirill Akifyev, senior year student of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics.

The winner comments, “I’ve been involved in scientific research since my early days as a a student as part of a student construction bureau. I am engaged in experimental studies of the behavior of deformed anisotropic media. Our team has offered a unique technique and equipment for experiments, and we now have a patent. Such results will be a nice boon for my future graduation thesis and publications. I am flattered to have received a commendation from the jury.”
