Dear colleagues, teachers and mentors! Dear students, PhD candidates and lyceum pupils!
I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the beginning of the new academic year and the Knowledge Day.
September 1 is a kind and bright holiday that is dear to all generations. It symbolizes a new stage in life, is the starting point of a fascinating journey into the world of knowledge and discoveries.
This day is especially exciting for our freshmen. It is with great joy that I welcome you to Kazan Federal University! You have successfully overcome all serious competitive tests and have become students of one of the best universities in the country!
You have made the main choice – you have determined your life path, your future profession. Kazan University is famous for its centuries-old traditions in education and science. Your teachers will be the best professors, you will get acquainted with the achievements of the leading scientific schools, get the skills and knowledge that will help you to become first-class specialists and find a worthy place in life.
Everything depends on you, your diligence and creative pursuits. Believe in yourself, work hard. You have an interesting and rich student life ahead of you!
To senior students I would like to wish further achievements in studies, science, sports and social life. Remember that the university is proud of you and your successes and will always support you in conquering new heights. The future is yours! Let scientific and creative victories accompany you, and the difficulties you will meet on your way will make you only stronger!
